Junior Web Designer | Project Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Rokk Media team. Based in a brand new, purpose built office on the outskirts of Exeter, Rokk Media Ltd is a fast growing, award winning, digital agency specialising in bespoke software development, mobile development, web development and online marketing.
We are currently looking for a talented, enthusiastic Junior Designer/Developer with a real passion for all things web and mobile.
The successful applicant will become a part of our front end design/development team and will working on a range of projects for a varied client base. Duties will initially include supporting the team with website maintenance, updates, providing technical assistance and brainstorming ideas with the creative team.
We would like to see examples of the work you have done before and any examples of responsive design/development will be very well received, although not essential. Applicants should also be able to demonstrate a flare for design and a good understanding of the Adobe CS applications.
A working knowledge of development within PHP based CMSs such as Wordpress, Joomla, Drupal is a big plus, however, any applicants who can show a good understanding of PHP, Javascript/jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3 coding would also be considered.
The successful candidate will be self starter who is not only well organised but will work well in a team environment whilst ensuring their attention to detail and understanding of the user experience is at the forefront of their work.
Hours - Full Time (Monday-Friday, 0900 - 17.30)
Salary - Dependent on experience

To assist the creative director in managing small to medium sized front-end/web site projects and tasks (up to 30 at any one time of differing scale). Working alongside a team of designers, developers, account managers and the existing project management team, you will have demonstrable experience within an equally busy agency/studio environment and preferablly with a digital background with a knowledge of web design processes.
Suitable qualifications in a recognised project management accreditation would be a bonus, but not a prerequisite. A positive, 'can-do' attitude is essential along with exemplary communcation skills (both verbal and written). An ability to self-manage as well as to shine within a team together with superb administration skills are essential as is an aptitude for definining and managing processes and workflows.

Please note that this position will not involve project managing our larger software and mobile app development projects which are handled by separate dedicated project management teams.
Hours - Full Time (Monday-Friday, 0900 - 17.30 with some flexibility to allow for the nature of the role)
