Leading South West law practice Ashfords LLP has launched a specially commissioned iPhone application from Rokk Media for accident reporting, making them one of the first UK law firms to release a native iPhone app.
Called MotorAssistant, the totally bespoke app has been in development several months and is aimed at better equipping road users in reporting accidents in an easy and less stressful way. It helps to avoid many of the complexities that accompany the reporting of Road Traffic Collisions (RTCs) and that sometimes result in a lack of accurate information being conveyed to insurances companies and possibly even the police.
Rokk Media director, and head of mobile app development, Tristan Stone said: "We worked closely with Ashfords to create a feature rich iPhone app which provides numerous ways to log different aspects of an incident.
“It was essential when designing the app that we made it simple to use, yet comprehensive enough to make it useful. Some of the apps' many features include providing clear and simple reporting steps, accident logging by voice recording, pinpoint location accuracy via GPS, options to call the emergency services and an ability to take photos of the incident to better support your insurance or legal case.
“Multiple incidents can be recorded and recalled and each incident can be emailed to the user for inclusion in an insurance claim.”
