After their impressive launch into the Rugby Union premiership, the Exeter Chiefs have continued to go from strength-to-strength and their marketing requirements have significantly increased. Rokk Media is pleased to be working with the Exeter Chiefs across a range of digital channels, helping them to stay in touch with their rapidly growing audience through their websites, mobile apps and online marketing presence.
Rokk Media have been proud sponsors of the Exeter Chiefs for the last 11 years and have been heavily involved in developing their online presence which has also included helping them become the first Premiership Rugby Club to provide live match tweeting and social media updates at every game.
One of the key projects we have worked on with the Exeter Chiefs is the development of a mobile application. This application has helped to put the club on the map by making them the first rugby team with an application for Android and iOS.
The application provides team news, fixture information, results and holds a host of community information to help fans stay informed. The application has now had more than 80,000 downloads across iPhone, Android and Tablet devices. (at August 2014).
“The Exeter Chiefs have had an exciting few years, but in terms of our marketing and promotion, we just wouldn’t have been able to do it without Rokk Media and most prominently the application they have developed for us. This application provides our fans with up-to-date, match-day information which just isn’t accessible anywhere else. With approximately 80,000 downloads already, it really has been a true success and we look forward to our continued working relationship with Rokk Media.”
